Prior to establishing Leadership Solutions, Peter was associated with Mercuri Urval, a Swedish consulting firm, for more than 20 years. In 1981, the firm sent Peter to New York to establish a United States base of operations. Starting from scratch, Peter built the organization to five offices. The firm now operates in 16 countries with more than 1,000 consultants.

Peter was educated at Steyning Grammar School in Sussex, England; at an Army Telecommunications College; and was graduated from Sandhurst’s Short-Service Officer Course (the British West Point equivalent). He served as a British Army Captain in the Royal Corps of Signals. His army experiences took him to Europe and the Far East and included command of a special Globe Trotters Troop. He took advanced studies in organizational and social psychology at Leeds, Hull, and Nottingham universities. Peter also worked as a human resource executive at a British manufacturing company in Brighton, England, before joining Mercuri Urval.
